The FOSDEM 2027 devroom proposal and we are calling out for talk proposals at https://digitaldissident.tech
#PHPisDead. Also what I wrote in my OpenSats application for building the Nostr-PHP libary back in January 2024.
During the next Open Source Conference Luxembourg happening the 7th of October '26 there is a new track called 'Decentralised technologies'. Some of the main aspects of this track are 'Decentralized platforms for video, chat, communications, code, etc.' and 'Interoperability for resilience'. It's obvious there is a match with Nostr here. That's why I've submitted this 30-min talk proposal (some other nostriches did the same with different topics).
I've been ignoring my monthly reminder to write a blog article about the Nostr stuff that's keeping me busy for too long now.
This article is published during my live demo / talk 'POSSE content with Drupal using Nostr' in the Collaboration and content management
devroom. Thank you for this opportunity!
A list of Nostr connect / login widgets which can be easily implemented by developers.
TLDR; all Nostr stuff is declined for the next FOSDEM conference, a keynote at the Noderunners conference, a Nostr workshop at the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference and how we are setting up a new foundation entity. Plus a short note about Nuxtstack.
Time has flown by during the summer holidays. August gave me a welcome break from the digital world, and there were moments when I felt truly unplugged. I’m sure I missed a lot of Nostr updates, but that doesn’t worry me, signal-worthy ideas still find their way to the top. Now that it’s October and I’m wrapping up this article. I guess September was that busy I forget to finish up this article.
Most content is always centralised. When content is published on a Drupal powered platform, it usually only exists on that website (or websites in case of a multisite). Let's use Nostr as a tool to distribute it in an open and permissionless ecosystem.
